Comp Package for Senior Diversity and Inclusion Manager: Base salary to $170K, Bonus, Full Benefits, 401K+, etc.
Responsibilities for Senior Diversity and Inclusion Manager:
- Develop and implement initiatives specifically geared to increase development, retention and promotion of underrepresented associates
- Represent the team and Firm by serving as a direct resource to internal and external clients on DE&I matters, including creating and implementing training for Attorney Development/Practice Development team with respect to DE&I, advocacy and playing an integral role in the staffing and development of diverse associates
- Represent Firm at client and community stakeholder events and expand outreach efforts to increase partnerships, visibility, and success of DE&I initiatives, including, the LGBT Bar Association of Greater New York, HNBA, MBBA, NAWL and NY City Bar
- Contribute to the development and implementation of DE&I and gender curricula and programming, including committee curricula, outside consultants, and affinity group events
- Serve as a liaison and source of advisory support to the Firm’s NY-based affinity groups and Women’s Working Group
Qualifications for Senior Diversity and Inclusion Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree required; juris doctor or graduate degree preferred
- 7+ years of relevant experience in a law firm required
- Experience and proven success with mentoring programs and resources
- Ability to multi-task and function comfortably under highly demanding deadlines
- Team oriented and disposition to collaborate with members from various Firm departments, committees and external organizations
